I visited Ile de Groix, just south of Lorient (a short, 30 minute boat ride from the town's ferry port) with some friends in April 2016. The boat takes you to Port Tudy, just NE of the main town on Groix, Le Bourg.. A must see is the beach known as Grand Sable, with perfect scenery combining white sand and blue water. Read more.
